Frequent Visitors is a weekly newsletter created to share the things we (over at Frequent Practice) have enjoyed visiting each week. Sometimes related to design, reads, and creativity. Sometimes related to anything else.
This Week’s Visits
Can I Believe You is a beautiful tune—and music video by Fleet Foxes, with stunning creative direction and set design by Sing–Sing Studio.
We came across some excellent thoughts and a draft about morals x Typeface Licensing by designer Raoul Gottschling. You can read the post here.
We enjoyed reading about Georg Olden and his concise, funny, and brilliant work for the CBS sports titles + more here.
P.O. Light by Calen Knauf. In his instagram stories, he shares the process of his small batch manufacturing. It’s so rare to see the behind the scenes, especially in such a no frills way. We are huge fans of Calen + his approach to life and work.
The CEO of Maude, Eva Goicochea, is one of only 60 Latinx women to have raised over $1 million in venture funding, and has recently been joined by Dakota Johnson as the company’s new investor and co-creative director!!
“Not only is Maude a WOC-founded company, it is boldly and intelligently forward thinking in an industry where the conversation and narrative around intimacy products is antiquated.” – Dakota.
(Small Win) Chair of One Part by MOS nyc is a low-fi seating system made up of a singular manufactured part, allowing for countless configurations. One of various pieces of furniture James had the opportunity to create with Michael Meredith.
(Small Win) We were thrilled to see that Margot Lévêque shared our work for the Festival of Words on her channel, the piece uses the typeface she designed named “Kalice”, which can be purchased here!
