Frequent Visitors is a weekly newsletter created to share the things we (over at Frequent Practice) have enjoyed visiting each week. Sometimes related to design, reads, and creativity. Sometimes related to anything else.
Our beloved friend Vivian’s new typeface Super Tramp is filled with confident characters that express a diverse range of attributes. Read an excellent interview on the release here.
Visiting this archive of NYT Magazine covers is a top tier frequent practice—the work of the NYT magazine team is second to none.
We’ve been enjoying flipping through Issue 48 of the Harvard Design Magazine; gorgeously designed by Alexis Mark with some excellent interviews (especially the one with Michèle Lamy).
One of our all time favourite design studios have expanded their intentional, research based practices to typography design with their Order Type Foundry. Realistically, we were sold the second we read “Typeface fanfiction”.
Bode and Green River Project have created yet another stunning interior with their new Los Angeles Store, sharing that they “wanted it to be an expression of something beyond; it’s about education and creating a universe.” A universe we would love to visit asap.
It was an excellent mail day with illustrator and designer Olga Prader’s colouring book landing in the mailbox.
That is all for this week! Thank you for reading and we hope you enjoyed your visit :) We love having visitors as much as we love being them, so it would mean the world if you shared this newsletter with someone you think might enjoy it! As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts + learn about some of your favourite finds by reading your replies to this email.
