Cha Cha Real Smooth, the missing piece, bottles, Swedish industrial design, and a 90th anniversary.
Frequent Visitors is a weekly newsletter created to share the things we (over at Frequent Practice) have enjoyed visiting each week. Sometimes related to design, reads, and creativity. Sometimes related to anything else.
This Week’s Visits:
⑴ Cha Cha Real Smooth is the latest film by Tea Time Pictures ft. Dakota Johnson and Cooper Raiff and the stunning trailer for it came out today!! (Highly highly recommend watching it at least 1-7 times)
⑵ A dear friend gifted us a copy of Shane Schneck’s book Objects in Dialog which is an absolute dream. Read more about the Swedish designer’s work here and admire it here.
⑶ While we eagerly await sunnier weather—Vancouver, your “Raincouver” is showing—we have some excellent puzzles to keep us company! Such as the latest from Le Puzz featuring work by the dreamy illustrator Clay Hickson, OR this one designed by Muller Van Severen.
⑷ MacGuffin Magazine’s tenth issue: The Bottle. This issue includes recipes for the perfect Molotov cocktail, the racism rife in the wine business, the curious colours of centuries-old domestic bottles, and the many marvels awaiting you in the mini-bar.
⑸ The gorgeous site designed by Adam Ridgeway for Block Productions.
⑹ Lars Müller has launched a poster exhibition that celebrates the 90th anniversary of Massimo Vignelli, filled with work from designers and authors all over the world!!
That’s it for this week! Thank you for reading and we hope you enjoyed your visit :) We love having visitors as much as we love being them, so it would mean the world if you shared this newsletter with someone you think might enjoy it!
As always, we’d love to hear your thoughts, answer any questions (what is the recipe for the perfect Molotov cocktail?) + learn about some of your favourite finds by reading + responding to all of your replies to this email!
