No. 25
Sporty spice, a directorial debut, collaborations galore, the Art of Menswear, and an ice cream treat.
Frequent Visitors is a weekly (ish) newsletter created to share the things we (over at Frequent Practice) have enjoyed visiting each week. Sometimes related to design, reads, and creativity. Sometimes related to anything else.
⑴ Crystal Zapata worked with the Nike team and Chicago South Side YMCA to redesign the Y’s basketball court and I have never felt so motivated to get on a court!!
⑵ For Rapha’s Women’s 100 ten-year anniversary they collaborated with Zuzanna Rogatty and Studio Nari on this stunning collection (basketball + cycling!? mighty sporty of us) ((thanks for the share VD🌟)).
⑶ The brilliant Emma Watson shared her directorial debut for Prada’s Paradoxe campaign. “A film by Emma Watson” is a line that just makes sense.
⑷ Eagerly awaiting the launch of Hem’s collaboration (9/14) with Seoul-based designer, Kwangho Lee.
⑸ If we were a smidge closer to London right now, we would be on route to the Victoria & Albert Museum to visit Fashioning Masculinities: The Art of Menswear. Until then, this podcast on the exhibit (ft. Gucci’s Creative Director Alessandro Michele as well as the show’s co-curators) will be keeping us company in the studio (thanks for sharing AP🪩).
⑹ Acne Studios has (finally) opened their first store in Canada designed by Swedish agency Halleroed, with lighting by Benoit Lalloz and furniture by Max Lamb.
Thank you for reading + we hope you enjoyed your visit :) We’ll be taking inspiration from Tilda + Haider Ackermann strolling through Venice with a little ICE CREAM TREAT for the remaining summer feeling days (while hopefully reading your wonderful replies to this email filled with the things you have enjoyed visiting/are on your list to).
Until next time,
Your pals at FP
We love having visitors as much as we love being them, so it would mean the world if you shared this newsletter with someone you think might enjoy it!
